Scuba Diving in Daymaniyat Islands, Oman

Dive Site: Docs Wall
Depth: 11m - 17m

I now understand why the Daymaniyat (Eng: jewel) Islands are so named. What a place to go scuba diving. It's hard to believe that sites like this exist in the Gulf.

My first visit to the islands involved an hours car journey, and then a 30 minute boat ride to the Daymaniyat group of islands. The trip was worth it, as I hope some of these photos will prove. Sadly, still trying to get the manual settings correct on the camera.... The photos from the second dive are considerably better.

The depth of this dive varied between 11 to 17 metres.

Disappointingly, when I got back to the boat, I found that the snorkellers were at the other side of the island swimming with black tip reef sharks and turtles.
